About At Home

A B O U T

Inspired by our restaurants minimalist style and philosophy we created our At Home brand, a curation of handmade, slow living elements for the home and lifestyle. Every day objects we dreamt up in lockdowns, motivated by shared experiences. All handmade in East London, designed to quietly elevate small, simple moments in everyday life.

Through lockdowns we found comfort in small rituals and simple home comforts. Lighting a candle in the middle of the day and taking a moment to savour its scent. Long afternoon or brisk morning walks, acknowledging and appreciating the significance of being outside. Baking bread. Pouring over new recipes. And finally after having spent most of the day around the table in meals, teas and work, clearing the chaos and laying the table even if just for one.

We created our At Home brand to signify these shifts as well as serve as an extension of what we do. Our tableware and scents can be found in use in our restaurant and are a reflection of our love and appreciation for simplicity, seasonality and intentionality.

About Restaurant

R E S T A U R A N T

The Water House Project was set up by Gabriel Waterhouse, former chef at 1 Michelin-stared Galvin La Chapelle in 2015, intending to bridge the gap between fine dining elegance and relaxed, comfortable and informal atmospheres.

Our menus are monthly changing, reliant on local, seasonal ingredients when they are at their best. We believe in using small amounts of ethically and sustainably reared meat and fish, and partnering with suppliers who share in our values. Our wines come from small scare producers across Europe who use traditional, low intervention methods of wine making, putting back into the soil what they take out.

We serve a 9-course tasting menu paired with wines and offer an at Home delivery service of 6 courses, also with wine, to easily be put together and enjoyed from the comfort of your home.
